Upward Bound is a federally funded education program aimed at increasing academic and motivational levels of low income and First Generation high school students so that they will graduate and successfully pursue a college education. There are 2 components to this program. The first component is an intensive 6-week academic summer program where students come to Mott Community College from 8:15 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and the second component is the Academic year where students come after high school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 – 6:00 pm for academic instructions and tutoring.
